Buying an engagement ring is five decisions, in the right order: how much to spend, which stone type, how large a stone, which design, and when to order. In Estonia a handmade ring with a lab-grown diamond typically costs €1,500–4,000, with a natural diamond €10,000–20,000. Let's walk all five.
1. Budget — without other people's rules
"Three months' salary" is a 1930s ad campaign, not a law. The right budget is the amount that causes no stress and no debt. The same design can be made at very different price points: stone size and type are the main levers. Decide your range before you shop — it keeps the choice clear.
2. Stone type: lab or natural
A lab-grown diamond is chemically identical to a natural one and costs a fraction at the same size — which is why most of our clients choose lab. A natural diamond is a rarity that holds value better. Read the honest comparison — we sell both, so we have no reason to flatter either.
3. Stone size: cut before carat

4. Design: her style, not the catalogue
