Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms of Sale and Returns apply when purchasing goods from the online store keefirivunts.ee.

2. General Terms

When purchasing from the online store, a sales contract between the customer and the online store is deemed concluded from the moment the customer has paid for the order and the online store has received confirmation of the payment.

The online store reserves the right to make changes to the terms of sale and prices. Any such changes will be reflected on the website.

3. Prices and Product Information

All prices displayed in the online store are in euros (€).

A delivery fee may be added to the product price depending on the shipping method and destination selected by the customer. The applicable delivery fee is displayed before payment is made.

Product information is provided directly next to each product in the online store. We aim to present all product information as accurately as possible; however, due to the nature of handmade products, precious metals, gemstones, and screen settings, slight differences in tone, dimensions, or details may occur.

4. Placing an Order

To place an order, the customer must add the desired products to the shopping cart, fill in the required fields, and choose a suitable delivery and payment method.

Before submitting the order, the customer is shown the final order total, including the price of the product(s) and any applicable delivery fee.

By placing an order, the customer confirms that:

  • the information provided is correct;

  • they have read the Terms of Sale and Returns;

  • they agree to these terms.

5. Payment

The online store accepts the payment methods that are available at checkout at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by Maksekeskus AS / MakeCommerce, which provides the online store with electronic payment solutions. Payment is made outside the online store in a secure environment according to the payment method selected by the customer. Maksekeskus AS acts as the payment intermediary.

After successful payment, the customer is redirected back to the online store.

The online store does not process or store the customer’s full bank card details.

6. Processing of Payment Data

Personal data necessary for processing payments is transferred to the authorized payment service provider, i.e. Maksekeskus AS / MakeCommerce, for the purpose of executing and confirming the payment.

If the customer chooses a payment method provided by a third party, the customer’s data may also be processed according to the terms and privacy principles of that service provider.

7. Entry into Force and Fulfilment of the Order

The sales contract enters into force from the moment the amount payable for the order has been received in the online store’s account or the online store has received confirmation that the payment has been successfully made.

If the ordered product cannot be manufactured or delivered within a reasonable time, the online store will inform the customer as soon as possible and refund the amount paid without delay, but no later than within 14 days from the notification.

8. Product Manufacturing

Keefirivunts products are handmade and in most cases made to order.

The manufacturing time for engagement rings and other made-to-order jewellery is generally 2–4 weeks, but the exact completion time depends on the complexity of the design, the availability of materials and stones, and the production workload.

If the product is personalized or made to order, the estimated completion time may be confirmed with the customer separately.

9. Delivery

The online store ships goods within Estonia and, where possible, to other countries.

Available delivery methods and prices are shown during checkout. Delivery costs are borne by the customer unless stated otherwise in the online store.

Depending on the order and destination country, we offer different delivery options, including DHL Express, Smartposti, DPD, Omniva, and Unisend. In some cases, it may also be possible to arrange personal pickup by prior agreement.

Delivery within Estonia is generally completed within 1–5 business days after the order has been completed or dispatched. For international shipments, delivery time depends on the destination country and the logistics partner, but in general delivery takes place within 3–14 business days after dispatch. In exceptional cases, delivery may take longer.

If the customer wishes to use a separately agreed or self-selected delivery method, responsibility for the specifics and risks of that delivery method may remain with the customer to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Right of Withdrawal

As a rule, a consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods.

However, this right does not apply in all cases. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to products that are personalized or made according to the consumer’s specifications.

As Keefirivunts products are mostly made to order and according to the customer’s choices, measurements, or other individual requirements, the 14-day right of withdrawal generally does not apply.

The right of withdrawal may only apply to products that:

  • are not made to order;

  • are not personalized;

  • have not been made according to the customer’s specific requirements.

If the customer has a right of withdrawal in relation to a specific product, they must notify the online store by email at info (@) keefirivunts.ee within 14 days of receiving the product.

Where the right of withdrawal applies, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than within 14 days from submitting the withdrawal notice, unless otherwise agreed.

The refund will be made after the returned item has been received or after the customer has provided proof of return, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice.

If the right of withdrawal applies, the customer shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

11. Defective or Incorrect Product

The customer has the right to contact the online store if the product has a defect or if the delivered product does not match the order.

The customer must notify the online store of the defect within a reasonable time after discovering it by sending an email to info (@) keefirivunts.ee. If possible, the customer should include the order number, a description of the defect, and photos or video.

If the product has a defect for which the online store is responsible, the online store will repair or replace the product. If repair or replacement is not possible or reasonable, the customer will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

The online store is not liable for defects that arise after the goods have been handed over to the customer, including defects caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, failure to follow care instructions, or use exceeding normal wear.

12. Right to Submit a Complaint

The consumer has the right to submit a complaint regarding non-conformity of the goods in accordance with applicable law.

Complaints must be sent to info (@) keefirivunts.ee no later than within two months from discovering the defect.

The online store will respond to the consumer’s complaint in writing or in a form that can be reproduced in writing within a reasonable time and no later than within 15 days.

13. Lifetime Warranty

Keefirivunts offers a lifetime warranty on its rings to the extent that it covers manufacturing defects.

13.1. The warranty covers

  • manufacturing and finishing defects;

  • structural issues resulting from the manufacturing process.

13.2. The warranty does not cover

  • normal wear and tear;

  • scratches, dents, or other external damage caused by use;

  • damage caused by impact, falling, accidents, or improper use;

  • changes caused by chemicals, cosmetics, pool water, hot tubs, or other external factors;

  • lost or stolen stones or details;

  • damage resulting from repair, alteration, or work performed anywhere other than Keefirivunts OÜ or its authorized partner.

13.3. Validity of the warranty

The warranty is valid only if the product has been used with due care and in accordance with its intended nature.

The warranty is non-transferable to a third party unless otherwise agreed in writing by the online store.

13.4. Handmade and natural characteristics

The following are not considered defects:

  • minor variations inherent to handmade work;

  • natural characteristics of precious metals, diamonds, and other gemstones;

  • slight differences in tone or microscopic natural features that do not affect the usability of the product.

14. Processing of Personal Data

The online store processes the customer’s personal data for the purpose of fulfilling orders, delivering goods, customer communication, and complying with legal obligations.

For the purpose of fulfilling the order, the online store may transfer the customer’s data to:

  • the payment service provider;

  • the delivery and logistics partner;

  • accounting or IT service providers where necessary for providing the service.

15. Direct Marketing

The online store sends newsletters, offers, and other marketing communications only if the customer has given their consent.

The customer may withdraw this consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting info (@) keefirivunts.ee.

16. Dispute Resolution

If the customer has any complaints regarding the online store, they should be sent to info (@) keefirivunts.ee.

If the customer and the online store are unable to resolve the dispute by agreement, the consumer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Committee. Information about the procedure is available on the website of the relevant authority.

The consumer may also use the European Union online dispute resolution platform where applicable and available.
